Timber Tones Luxury Wood Guitar Pick - African Ebony - Single Pick
The second hardest wood in the
Timber tones range with a Janka hardness rating of 3320 lbf.
This is the wood of choice for many Guitar Manufacturers, who use its
pure black appearance to manufacture finger boards, bridge pins and
machine head buttons.. In its native africa it is also used to make 'dug
out' canoes.
The wood is obtained from the Diospyros Mespilifomis tree, a large
deciduous tree found mstly in the savannas of Africa.
These African Ebony picks are manufactured from off cuts from musical
instrument and furniture manufacturing.
African Ebony is a very close grained timber that polishes to a
smooth finish, this ensures that you get a clean crisp sound. The
hardness ensures that it can withstand the riggers of Electric Guitar
playing. If used on an Acoustic guitar it will dramatically brighten
the sound. If you need the hardness of Ebony but require a lighter pick
with lots more grip try the Tri Tones picks.
This listing is for a single pick.
