Here we have a new Furch Blue Deluxe Gc-CM, the first Blue Series Furch to feature the Bevel Duo, comprised of two bevels – one in front, at the forearm and one in the rear, at the rib position. The combination of these two bevels provides a substantial increase in playing comfort and also enhances the exclusive appearance of the instrument.
The Blue Series is unbeatable in its class, mainly due to its solid wood construction and wide array of materials and body shapes, which offer a nearly inexhaustible combination of sound options. A rich tone can be achieved with a cedar soundboard and mahogany back and sides, while a spruce top with Mahogany back and sides provides a strong sound. The maximum use of the sound potential of these woods is ensured by our proprietary voicing process of the soundboard. The natural sound and appearance are further accentuated by our semi-matte Open-Pore Finish. The overall subtle appearance of the Blue Series guitars is completed by fine adornments, foremost being a walnut rosette in front and faux tortoise binding.
The Blue CM is Furch’s most affordable solid-wood instrument. The soundboard is made from high-grade western red cedar, and the back and sides feature high-quality African mahogany. Open-Pore Finish leaves wood pores exposed, which preserves the natural acoustic properties of tonewoods. The combination of these high-quality solid tonewoods and finish produces a beautiful musical sound across the entire tonal range with slightly pronounced lows.
Furch CNR System® Active Neck Design
The CNR System® Active provides the freedom to quickly and easily adjust your setup and the confidence that your guitar will always feel just as great as the last time you played it, regardless of environmental conditions. ·Eccentric screw secures solid lateral position of the neck.
·Two-way adjustable truss rod allows for precise adjustments of your neck relief.
·Carbon fiber truss rod casing keeps your neck relief smooth over long periods, even in tough conditions.
·Expansion gap accommodates natural wood movement due to humidity changes.
·Expansive element is the heart of CNR System® Active, responding to ambient humidity by expanding or contracting to maintain consistent neck performance.
·String action adjustment screw allows fine-tuning of your string action for personalized playability.
Remarkable sound
Sound is the most important consideration for Furch guitars. Their excellent acoustic qualities are the result of state-of-the art technologies, proprietary production processes and precision craftsmanship combined with the use of the best available tonewoods. The Blue CM is no fluke.
Unique voicing process
The premium nature of the Blue CM is underscored by the fact that the soundboard is individually tuned using the voicing process, which enhances the guitar’s tonal properties to the highest level. Thanks to that, the Blue CM has a crystalline clear, harmonically rich, balanced, and highly dynamic sound across the entire tonal spectrum.
Open-Pore Finish
The instrument features Open-Pore Finish, a special thin finish that promotes the natural sonic qualities of tonewoods and provides an excellent level of surface protection. The finish accentuates low frequencies and produces a natural woody sound.
Excellent playability
The fingerboard is made from high-quality ebony and features buffed frets, which allows for high playing comfort.
