Tension set is designed with the four most common tunings (E Standard, Eb Standard,
Drop D and Half Down Drop Db) and the four most common scale lengths
(25.5", 25", 24.75" and 24.6") in mind. The result is a
string set designed to land right in-between a common set of 10's and 11's.
UNIVERSALS provide smooth tension that never feels too stiff or too floppy on
guitars with common scale lengths in common tunings. "SIT's Universals
feel great on all my guitars and adapt easily to different scale lengths and
tunings so I don't have to keep track of different gauges for different guitars.
