Description

The Furch Grand Nylon series combines two guitar worlds, the sound and lightness of playing the classical guitar and ergonomic features of a neck of steel string guitars. The GNc 4-CR has a cedar soundboard and Indian rosewood back and sides. These tonewoods give the guitar not only a pleasing musical sound, but also a gorgeous natural look. A time-proven body design and internal bracing pattern translate into an optimal balance of volume, sustain, and dynamics.

Furch CNR System® Active Neck Design

The CNR System® Active provides the freedom to quickly and easily adjust your setup and the confidence that your guitar will always feel just as great as the last time you played it, regardless of environmental conditions. This innovation allows you to immerse yourself in music and strengthen the connection to your instrument.

·Redesigned heel-to-fingerboard structure improves neck heel stability and transfers string tension to the expansive element and adjustment screw. Its length and rigidity ensure optimal neck geometry and excellent playability.

·Eccentric screw secures solid lateral position of the neck.

·Two-way adjustable truss rod allows for precise adjustments of your neck relief.

·Carbon fiber truss rod casing keeps your neck relief smooth over long periods, even in tough conditions.

·Expansion gap accommodates natural wood movement due to humidity changes.

·Expansive element is the heart of CNR System® Active, responding to ambient humidity by expanding or contracting to maintain consistent neck performance.

·String action adjustment screw allows fine-tuning of your string action for personalized playability.

Remarkable sound

Sound is the most important consideration for Furch guitars. Their excellent acoustic qualities are the result of state-of-the art technologies, proprietary production processes and precision craftsmanship combined with the use of the best available tonewoods. The GNc 4-CR is no fluke.

Unique voicing process

The premium nature of the GNc 4-CR is underscored by the fact that the soundboard is individually tuned using the voicing process, which enhances the instrument’s tonal properties to the highest level. Thanks to that, the GNc 4-CR has a crystalline clear, harmonically rich, balanced, and highly dynamic sound across the entire tonal spectrum.

Resonance enhancing finish

The instrument is protected by our proprietary Full-Pore High-Gloss Finish, which has been developed to enhance the guitar’s tonal qualities. The finish consists of an ultrathin layer of highly resistant lacquer that provides excellent surface protection and accentuates the structure of the wood at the same time.

Attractive look

The attractive look of the GNc 4-CR is underscored by faux tortoise used for body binding and headstock inlays.

Transparent protection

The soundboard of the GNc 4-CR is protected by a transparent pickguard that allows the natural beauty of the wood to shine through. The pickguard is designed to have no effect on the tonal qualities of the soundboard.

Headstock appointments

The headstock is adorned with a gorgeous square figure with mother-of-pearl and faux tortoise inlays.

High-rigidity Hiscox case

Maximum protection during transport is provided by a high-rigidity Hiscox case with polyurethane insulating foam that shields the instrument from changes in external climatic conditions.
