Timber Tones Ironwood
Ironwood is a very close-grained wood that polishes
to a smooth finish, this ensures that you get a clean crisp sound. The
hardness ensures that it can withstand the rigors of electric guitar
playing. If used on an acoustic guitar it will dramatically brighten the
sound.
Ironwood is a midhardness wood with a Janka
hardness of 2299. They are CNC Milled from the very best quality wood
then hand sanded and hand polished to give them their amazing shine and
smoothness. Timber Tones unique shape is roughly based upon the classic
351 design, however they are 2.4mm thick where you hold them, chamfering
down to 0.7mm at the playing tip.
