Flag Tone African Ebony
Flag Tones are CNC Milled from the finest quality
exotic timbers from around the world, which are primarily sourced from
offcuts from Musical Instrument and Furniture manufacturing. They are
Laser Etched with Flags from around the world. They are then hand sanded
and polished with a parafin wax to improve their finish and bring out
the beauty of their colours.
Flag Tones are based upon the Classic 351 shape.
They are typically 2.5mm thick chamfering down to a playing tip at 0.7mm
thick. They then have a grip pattern etched with a laser on one side of
the plectrum to give you an unbeaten grip. They are approximately
25.7mm wide and 30.3mm tall.
African Ebony is a
very close-grained timber that polishes to a smooth finish, this ensures
that you get a clean crisp sound. The hardness ensures that it can
withstand the rigors of electric guitar playing. If used on an acoustic
guitar it will dramatically brighten the sound.
