You don't have to go down to the crossroads to get vintage-style blues sound any longer. The new LH-204 Brownstone has tone as dark and meaty as the turned earth you can see from your front porch. You want the blues? The LH-204's got 'em.

Based on the award winning LH-200, the Brownstone has a solid Sitka spruce top, mahogany back, sides and neck and a rosewood fretboard in a classic pre-war body style. The body is finished with a brown satin finish and a vintage-style bound soundhole. The low-key headstock design is a simple gold logo decal that gives a nod to the guitar's rootsy heritage.

With a 1-11/16” bone nut, 25.4” scale and comfortable C profile neck, the tone and vibe of the LH-204 drip with the blues style that many consider to be the foundation of all guitar music since.

The
                Loar LO-215-SN
The Loar LO-215-SN with Case

In Stock!

More Images: one  two  three  four  five  six  seven  eight

The LO-215 is a unique flat top that gives players the chance to enjoy everything great about a small body instrument, but still benefit from the extra volume of a longer scale. The LO-215 starts with a solid Sitka spruce top on a classic 0-style body. The dreadnought scale length means more punch and projection than you’d expect from a small-body guitar.

The Sitka spruce combines with the flamed maple back and sides for a bright, sweet tone that’s great for any style of music. Our 1-11/16” bone nut is comfortable for either fingerpicking or strumming, and the vintage-style Golden Age tuning machines keep the 215 in tune through extended playing. The ivory body binding gives the LO-215 a refined, classic look that complements the vintage sunburst finish.

This guitar comes with a Guardian CG-020-O hardshell Case

The LO-16 takes the traditional L-00 shaped body style and updates it for today’s players.  If you want authentic front porch blues-box sound, you can’t do much better than the LO-16.

The LO-16 begins with a hand-selected solid spruce top.  The mahogany back and sides give it the warmth that players have come to know and love in small body instruments. Mother-of-pearl headstock inlay and Grover tuning machines add tons of value to these great-sounding guitars.  We’re offering them in traditional natural finish, and also in classic black finish with ivory-colored body binding and a vintage-style white pickguard.  The black finish is our nod to historic blues guitars and looks like no other guitar out there.

Inspired by the incredible craftsmanship and design of the Golden Age, The Loar LH-200 is an acoustic guitar with a classic pre-war body style, outstanding features, and a strong, full tone. From the vintage sunburst finish to the open gear butterbean tuners, The LH-200 is modeled after small-bodied flat top acoustic guitars from the 1930’s.
